The Facilities Management department is responsible for defining and implementing facility management, maintenance strategies and associated services aimed at preserving infrastructure and assets in optimal condition.

We ensure that these assets not only fulfil their intended purpose but also meet health and safety standards, thereby providing the highest level of service to the client and our colleagues.

The Private Affairs department oversees the management and coordination of private, family-related matters.

The Supply Chain & Procurement Department manages the flow of products and services from the source to the destination, ensuring efficiency and responsiveness. We oversee procurement and logistics, and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to optimize operations.

We identify potential new suppliers, negotiate contracts to ensure quality and delivery, and manage long-term partnerships with suppliers and logistics partners, with a key focus on cost optimization.

Ziad Fares

Chief Executive Officer

Ziad Fares is the Chief Executive Officer of the Sanad Abu Dhabi Group of Companies, leading the organization since 2016.

Ziad spent more than two decades with firms like Booz Allen Hamilton, and Mubadala, Crown Prince Court – Abu Dhabi, and UAE Ministry of State across disciplines that include business development and public policy.

Ziad holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD, a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Management – USA, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology – USA.

Anirudh Anjakulath

Chief Operations Officer

Anirudh Anjakulath is the Chief Operations Officer of Sanad Abu Dhabi. In this role, he is responsible for the operational aspects influencing business performance, financial control, and cost efficiencies.

Anirudh has over 27 years of experience spanning corporate finance, restructuring, treasury and funding, corporate governance, and financial and management accounting. Anirudh has previously worked for organizations like YAHSAT, DHL Global Forwarding, and Ernst and Young.

Anirudh is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute of Internal Auditors – USA.

Annie Kaninia

Head Of Private Affairs

Annie Kaninia leads the Private Affairs Department, managing all aspects related to the family’s private affairs, including planning, organizing and executing tasks. She co-ordinates extensively with various departments, government authorities, and vendors in the course of performing her duties.

Annie has 20 years of experience in managing offices of C-Suite executives across different sectors, including Healthcare, ICT, and Private family offices. She has worked with renowned regional entities such as Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Yahsat, and Mubadala.

Annie studied General medicine for four years, after which she shifted her focus to business support studies. She also holds a Cambridge diploma in Office Administration.

Georges Saliba

Senior Director – IT

In his role, Georges champions the family office’s technology-led initiatives.

Georges brings a wealth of experience, having worked for several industries, including healthcare, cyber security, automotive, hospitality, commodities and agriculture, advertising, digital media and marketing, telecom infrastructure, IT systems provider, and customer management. He has a 20-year record of accomplishment with firms like General Motors, Cargill Middle East, Fifth Ring LLC, LikeMind Fz-LLC, and Convergys.

Georges holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Science, and a large number of industry-specific certifications.

Deepu Venugopal

Senior Manager – Supply Chain, Procurement

As a Senior Manager of Supply Chain and Procurement, Deepu is responsible for establishing strategic policies, sourcing, negotiating prices and commercial terms, vendor management, and new vendor development. He liaises with internal and external stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction, and manages logistics and transportation to optimize costs and ensure responsiveness.

With 14 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, demand forecasting, planning, logistics, and inventory management, he has held positions in the shipping, distribution & warehousing, and healthcare industries, including roles at Emitac Group and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

He holds a Master’s degree in Logistics from the University of Wollongong, Australia, and a Bachelor of Science from Amrita University, India. He is also a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) with a Level 4 certification and holds the Certified Professional Purchasing Manager (CPPM) certification from the American Purchasing Society.
